Will Patton Charged With DUI in South Carolina: See His Mugshot

Captain Weaver has seen better days. Will Patton was charged with DUI in South Carolina on Tuesday, Feb. 24, the Associated Press reports. The actor currently stars on the TNT series Falling Skies.

Patton, 60, was pulled over while driving his pickup truck on the Isle of Palms. According to an incident report, the star had been veering near the middle of the road. When the officer asked what he had to drink, he responded: “Not too much, a couple bottles…er… couple of glasses of wine.”

Per the AP, the Charleston native failed a field sobriety test; he blew less than 0.10 when the legal limit for driving is 0.08. He also reportedly refused to take a blood alcohol test, and was released on a $997 personal recognizance bond on Wednesday, Feb. 25.

Patton is best known for playing Coach Bill Yoast in the 2000 film Remember the Titans opposite Denzel Washington. He also played Chick in Armageddon in 1998 and appeared in several episodes of 24 in 2009.
